Founded in 1988 by Chris McLaughlin, CMC brings over three decades of specialist knowledge to every project. Before starting the business, Chris worked for one of the UK’s largest privately owned Damp and Timber Treatment companies, gaining in-depth expertise in rising damp solutions, woodworm eradication, and wet rot treatments.

Building on this foundation, Chris trained as a professional plasterer, perfecting the skill of re-plastering after damp course treatments.

His experience includes working with renovating plasters, sand and cement renders, and expert plasterboarding and skimming – ensuring every repair is completed to the highest standard.

Today, CMC continues to deliver trusted, high-quality damp proofing and plastering in Coventry and the surrounding areas, backed by decades of hands-on experience and 5-star customer service.
