Woodworm & Wet Rot
Woodworm is the common name given to wood boring insects.
This problem can be solved by spraying the infected areas using an insecticide solution. In the cases of heavy infestation, the timbers may require replacing and then treating.
Wet Rot is common in timber floors where the joist ends go into damp walls or brickwork. Wet Rot timbers need to be replaced using tanalised timber joists and PGT floor boarding. These areas are then sprayed using an insecticide/fungicide solution.
